2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to purchase or use AuthorVault.
If you use AuthorVault on behalf of a business or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Accounts
Some AuthorVault services may require an account.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information.
- Keeping your login credentials secure.
- Activities performed through your account.
- Informing us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Accounts are intended for the individual or organisation that purchased access unless the offer specifically states otherwise.
You may not sell, transfer, lease or share access with unrelated third parties without our permission.
4. Purchases and Payments
Prices and payment terms are displayed before purchase.
Certain AuthorVault products may be sold through third-party platforms such as WarriorPlus and may use third-party payment processors.
Your payment may therefore also be subject to the terms of the applicable payment provider.
Unless specifically described as a subscription or recurring payment, a product advertised as a one-time payment will not automatically become a recurring charge.
Optional upgrades, additional products or future services may be sold separately.
5. Digital Delivery
AuthorVault products are primarily digital products and services.
Access may be provided immediately or shortly after successful payment.
You agree that digital delivery may begin immediately after purchase where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation, refund, repair, replacement or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
6. Refunds
Any voluntary money-back guarantee specifically advertised on the sales page or checkout page for the product you purchased will apply according to the conditions stated for that offer.
Where no separate voluntary guarantee is advertised, refund requests will be considered in accordance with the purchase terms and applicable law.
Refund requests should be sent to: support@yourpublishingempire.com
Purchasing through a third-party marketplace does not remove any mandatory consumer rights you may have.
7. AI-Generated and AI-Assisted Content
AuthorVault incorporates artificial-intelligence technology.
AI output is generated probabilistically and may occasionally:
- Contain factual inaccuracies.
- Produce inconsistent information.
- Repeat material.
- Misunderstand instructions.
- Create continuity errors.
- Generate content similar to commonly occurring material.
- Produce material requiring editing or verification.
AuthorVault's Continuity Auditor and similar tools are designed to help identify potential problems, but they do not guarantee that a manuscript will be completely accurate, consistent, original or error-free.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing and approving all output before using or publishing it.
AuthorVault is a tool and does not replace professional editing, proofreading, fact-checking, legal review or your own judgement.
8. Ownership of Your Content
As between you and AuthorVault, you retain your rights in original material that you submit to the service, including manuscripts, story concepts, characters and other original content, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
You grant AuthorVault and its service providers the limited rights necessary to host, transmit, process and analyse your content for the purpose of providing the services you request.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and process any content you submit.
9. AI Output and Commercial Use
Subject to these Terms and the terms applicable to any underlying third-party AI provider, you may use output generated for you through AuthorVault for personal or commercial publishing purposes.
However, AuthorVault does not guarantee:
- That AI-generated material qualifies for copyright protection in every jurisdiction.
- That every output is completely unique.
- That an output will not resemble existing material.
- That a publishing platform will accept AI-generated or AI-assisted content.
- That publishing rules will remain unchanged.
- That use of an output will not require additional disclosure.
It is your responsibility to comply with the current rules of Amazon KDP, other publishing platforms, retailers and jurisdictions where you publish or distribute content.

AuthorVault may integrate with, link to or rely upon third-party products and services.
These may include AI providers, hosting providers, payment processors, email services, publishing platforms and marketplaces.
We do not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their continuous availability.

- Sell or redistribute our templates as standalone products.
- Republish our training materials.
- Share paid downloads publicly.
- Reverse engineer or reproduce proprietary software.

This does not prevent you from commercially using books and other legitimate output you create using AuthorVault.
15. Affiliate Promotions
AuthorVault may operate an affiliate programme.
Affiliates are independent third parties and are not employees, agents or representatives of AuthorVault.
Affiliates must not make false, misleading or unauthorised claims about AuthorVault.
Statements made independently by an affiliate that have not been authorised by AuthorVault do not modify these Terms or the official product offer.
16. No Guarantee of Results
AuthorVault provides tools and resources. We do not guarantee:
- That you will complete a book.
- That a book will be accepted by a publisher or marketplace.
- Sales.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthorVault is supplied on an "as available" basis.
We do not promise that every feature will always operate without interruption or that every AI-generated result will be accurate, suitable, complete or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of AuthorVault, including loss resulting from:
- Publishing decisions.
- Lost sales.
- Lost profits.
- Lost opportunities.
- Marketplace decisions.
- AI-generated inaccuracies.

Where liability can legally be limited, our total liability arising from a particular purchase will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim.
19. Indemnity for Business Users
If you use AuthorVault in the course of a business, you agree to be responsible for losses, liabilities or reasonable costs resulting from your unlawful use of the service, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these Terms.
This section does not apply to consumers to the extent prohibited by consumer law.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that an account:
- Is being used fraudulently.
- Has materially breached these Terms.
- Is attacking or abusing our infrastructure.
- Is being illegally resold.
- Presents a security risk.
- Is being used for unlawful activity.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in the country where you live.
If you are a consumer, nothing in this section removes any rights you may have to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable consumer law.
